This is a story about Queen Esther like you've never read before.  It is a great love story set in the glittering capital of the Persian Empire during the time that Persia ruled the world.  It is very much a woman's book, telling the familiar story from Esther's perspective as a Jewish woman who is living out a dangerous masquerade, made even more dangerous by the fact that she has fallen in love with her own husband, who doesn't know who she is.  It is also a book that will resonate with the modern Christian because it shows how one woman of deep faith can indeed change the face of a family, a community, a world.
